The recorded demos of the g-Eclipse framework in action shows you the power of the g-Eclipse tool.

Building a complex workflow application with g-Eclipse
This screencast shows how easy it is to set up an complex workflow application with the g-Eclipse framework. The pharmaceutical application is a subsequent chain of programs/services which are hosted as GRIA services. After the set up of a GRIA project with the g-Eclipse framework, its workflow editor is used to create the workflow. The workflow is deployed in the infrastructure and executed. The final output is visualized with the SRS3D visualisation plugin for the g-Eclipse framework.

- Building and running an aerospace application workflow with g-Eclipse
This screencast demonstrates how g-Eclipse has been used
in the aerospace sector to author, deploy and execute an engineering
workflow, based on the FLITE3D application suite from BAE Systems.
The FLITE3D components have previously been deployed as
GRIA applications on their GRIA Job Service.
The workflow consists of a FLITE3D-ST job, followed by a conversion step
into VTK format. The workflow is authored using the g-Eclipse workflow
editor, incorporating JSDL job definitions for each step, then
translated into XScufl format and deployed onto BAE's GRIA
Job Service, using the GRIA Workflow Deployer Application.
The newly deployed ST-VTK application (workflow) is discovered by g-Eclipse,
and a new JSDL job created for this, and executed via the GRIA middleware plugin.
The final results are visualised in g-Eclipse, using the VTK plugin.

Access to GRIA services in five minutes
This screencast shows how easy the access to GRIA Grid services can be performed using the g-Eclipse tool. The demo shows how the blast application provided by SIMDAT can be used to run a sequence analysis. After the execution of the computation, the output is retrieved using the g-Eclipse data management tools.

Access to Amazons Web Cloud in five minutes
The Amazon Web Services (sometimes called the cloud) offers remote storage resources (S3) as well as remote computing resources (EC2). Assuming the user has created an account on Amazons Cloud, the demo shows how easy the interaction with AWS resources can be performed. It is important to mention, that this AWS demo uses the same Grid model used for other middlewares. Have a look and see how easy you can 'buy' a virtual computer in just five minutes. That is faster than every normal procurement process.
